Enjoy Life with Beautiful, Strong Teeth

Your smile is one of your most important assets. Your teeth are one of the most important factors in helping your digestion. Fortunately, a well-fitting, beautiful denture can give you back your smile and enhance your life.

Explore The Benefits of Dentures

We offer four distinct types of dentures to fit all budgets and needs in the Lorena, TX area. See below to determine which option is best for you and then call us to schedule your initial exam so we can listen to you and the needs you have so that the dentures we design for you are exactly what you want and need.

Option #1 - Implant-Supported Denture: An implant-supported denture has the added support of either dental implants or tooth roots; the denture, called an overdenture, is then snapped into place over the implants or roots and feels like your original teeth. Overdentures help you retain more bone in your jaw, which gives you a firm jawline and a more youthful look.

Option #2 - Conventional Dentures: A conventional denture replaces a full arch of teeth; conventional dentures are created after your tissue has healed completely, usually at 6 to 8 weeks after tooth extraction.

Option #3 - Immediate Denture: An immediate denture also replaces a full arch of teeth; immediate dentures are placed immediately after tooth extraction so you don’t have to live without teeth. A more permanent, conventional denture is made after your tissue has healed.

Option #4 - Partial Denture: A partial denture replaces a few missing teeth, not the entire arch; partials are held in place by clasps which attach to the teeth next to the open space.

Benefits of Dentures

Our dentures not only give our patients a new smile but they also give them a natural facelift, without surgery or the use of fillers. The dentures are custom-made for each patient, which allow for a comfortable fit, especially when chewing and speaking. We take measurements that allow us to enhance your face and give you a more youthful appearance. Believe it or not, your bite can age you! Worn down natural or denture teeth cause a collapsed bite that creates stretch on the jaw muscles and fatigue the Temporomandibular Joints (TMJ). Over time, the face will stretch to accommodate the collapsed bite and create a sunken-in look that can age a person by 10 years or more! Dentures must be replaced every five years, as the bite and fit will need to be re-established due to natural wear and tear in the jaw bone.

Implant-supported customized overdentures:

Implant-supported dentures stay in place and allow for comfortable speaking and eating. Lower dentures are commonly found to fit loosely and that is because many of the face muscles and the strongest muscle in the body, the tongue, attach to the bottom jaw and when they move, they can prevent the denture from staying put, even with all of the denture adhesive that you can buy!

Dentures can help restore your smile, your health, and your sense of well-being. You deserve to be able to show off a beautiful smile, and now you can with dentures.

Why Get Dentures?

If you have severely damaged or painful teeth, tooth extraction is one of the treatments to give you pain relief and eliminate infection. Once your teeth are removed, you are faced with either living without teeth or replacing your teeth with a dental appliance.

Dental appliances, like removable partial dentures and conventional dentures, can restore your smile and give you back your self-esteem. Modern dentures also fit securely and comfortably, enabling you to eat the foods you love!
